For those who are have interest in history and architecture, Iran offers endless adventures. Here you will visit the ancient city of Pasargadae, Shiraz with its beautiful Persian gardens, City of Yazd with its unique architecture and Zoroastrian Community. Also, included in the trip is a full day excursion to Persepolis, a unique site of the ancient world. Plus, you can enjoy original deserts during the trip.
After arriving at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) in Tehran, our representative will meet and greet you; then, you will be transferred to the hotel to rest.
This morning, we will take you to a World Heritage Site, the Golestan Palace; a monument dating back to Qajar Dynasty. Then, we will have a walk around Tehran Bazaar, which is few steps far from Golestan Palace. Walking along the Bazaar route, we go to Timche Akbarian. For lunch we will go to a Dizi Sara to eat Dizi. Dizi is a special traditional Iranian Stew made by lamb, peas, onions, potato etc. Eating Dizi has a special costume. In the afternoon, you will visit National Museum of Iran, where you can see historical items from 5000 BC to the advent of Islam in Iran which demonstrates a brief history of this antique land. We will also visit the Carpet Museum of Iran.
Today we leave Tehran and set off to Kashan. In this city we’re going to visit Fin Garden (A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, you will visit Boroujerdi Traditional House. Afterwards, we will visit the bazaar area, a widespread complex filled with hamams and mosques. Anyone who wants, can have a short break or time for shopping.
After leaving Kashan in the morning, our first stop would be Abyaneh. The village famous for its red soil and architecture. After visiting Abyaneh we drive to Isfahan; the former Iran’s capital during 17th and 18th century. Places to visit in Isfahan: Shahrestan Bridge, Other famous bridges on Zayandeh River are Sio-se-pol and Khaju.
Today we’re going to visit some World Heritage Sites: First of all Jame Mosque, after that an exploration through Naghshe Jahan square including the monuments inside: Jame Abbasi Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and Qeisarieh Bazaar. Next up is Chehel Sotun Palace, a graceful pavilion was built by Shah Abbas II for entertainment and court receptions. The last but not least is the Vank Cathedral. A magnificent church that dates back the 17th century.
You are free to spend the day at the city center, and the bazaar to shop.
Leaving Isfahan behind, your first stop this morning will be in Naein, an ancient community with origins dating back to the 8th century. We will visit the Jame Mosque of Naein. We’ll continue our journey to Farahzad Village which is beautifully located on the edge of the sand desert and makes your stay especial since most other places in that region have some distance from the real desert.
We’ll explore Mesr Desert and Garmeh.
We will have a short stop to visit Kharanagh old town and a single-minaret mosque and Kharanagh castle. Your overland journey continues to the small town of Meybod which offers a number of fascinating sites to visit including its caravanserai, built in typical Safavid style. Then at the local icehouse, you’ll learn about the thick-clay construction and subterranean chamber that allowed local residents to have ice and food storage before refrigeration.
Welcome to one of the oldest cities in Iran and the center of Zoroastrian community. The places to visit in this city: First Tower of Silence, then Zoroastrian Fire Temple where you’ll see a flame that is said to have been burning for the past 1,500 years. Amir Chakhmaq Square. There, you’ll see a very impressive Hussainiya– a congregation hall for Shia ceremonies. The next place to visit is the Friday Mosque, built in 1324, where you can see the tallest minarets in the country. The next site would be a garden called Dowlat Abad Garden with its tall and wind towers (Badgir).
Today we leave for Shiraz and on our way we will visit some of ancient masterpieces of architecture. Our first stop is Pasargadae, the former capital of Cyrus the Great and his present mausoleum. Then we will drive to Naqsh-e-Rustam, the Necropolis where some of Achaemenid kings are buried. Then, we will visit the Legendary City of Persepolis, the capital of the Great Darius. One of the most impressive constructions in the ancient world; the remains of a prosperous capital, founded in 512 by Darius the Great. Continue to Shiraz and check into the hotel.
After breakfast, we will visit Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque) which is near Vakil Bazaar. The mosque that is famous for its colorful designing and tile working. Now it is time to see Narenjestan Garden, built in the 19th century during the Qajar Dynasty. As soon as you step into this garden, you will smell an orange-scented breeze which is wandering in the air. Then, you will visit Karim Khan Citadel. Built during the Zand Dynasty and you’ll have time to explore and shop in Vakil Bazaar.
You are free to spend the day at the city center, and the bazaar to shop.
After breakfast we are we keep on exploring the city by visiting Eram Garden. Then, we will visit the Shrine of Ali Ebne Hamzeh. Our journey in Shiraz will end by a taste of poem and literature. We’re going to visit tomb of Hafez and Saadi. These two poets are among the most shining stars of Persian Literature’s sky. In the afternoon, you will fly back to Tehran.
Our representative will transfer you to Imam Khomeini International Airport according to your flight time.

There is no additional cancellation fee in Touriar. You can cancel the tour up to 30 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full price of the tour, but the deposit of 20% is non-refundable. If you cancel via Touriar, the standard cancellation policy applies.
